Author pov:
The air felt different.
Kim Taehyung stood near the wide glass window of his hotel room, his fingers lightly resting against the cool surface. Outside, India was alive.
Cars moved endlessly. People walked in colorful clothes. The city never seemed to stop breathing.
But that wasn't what made him uneasy.
It was something else.
Something he couldn't see.
Something he could only feel.
He frowned slightly.
His chest felt tight, yet calm.
His heart felt heavy, yet hopeful.
He didn't understand it.
He had travelled to many countries before. Experienced different cultures, different energies. But this…
This was different.
It felt like…
He was meant to be here.
And that thought scared him.
He stepped back from the window, running his hand through his soft dark hair.
"Why do I feel like this…"
His voice was barely a whisper.
Before he could think further, a knock broke his thoughts.
"Taehyung, are you inside?" Jimin's voice called from outside.
Taehyung blinked, quickly straightening himself.
"Yeah, come in."
The door opened and Jimin walked in, followed by Jungkook, Hoseok, and Namjoon.
Jungkook immediately noticed his expression.
"Why do you look like you saw a ghost?"
Taehyung let out a small breath.
"I don't know…"
Namjoon tilted his head slightly.
"What do you mean?"
Taehyung hesitated.
How could he explain something he himself didn't understand?
He looked back at the window.
"Do you guys feel anything… different here?"
They all looked at each other.
Hoseok laughed softly.
"Different? Of course. It's India. Everything is different."
Jungkook nodded.
"The food, the people, the weather… everything."
Taehyung shook his head slowly.
"No… not like that."
His voice was quieter now.
"Something else."
Something deeper.
Jimin stepped closer.
"What kind of different?"
Taehyung stayed silent for a moment.
Then he spoke.
"It feels like… something is waiting."
The room went quiet.
Jungkook raised his eyebrows.
"Waiting?"
Taehyung nodded slowly.
"I don't know what. I don't know why. But… it feels like I'm here for a reason."
Namjoon's expression changed slightly.
Not mocking.
Not dismissing.
But thoughtful.
Namjoon believed in feelings like that.
Sometimes, the heart knew things before the mind did.
Namjoon spoke gently.
"Maybe something is."
Taehyung looked at him.
Their eyes met.
Namjoon smiled softly.
"Sometimes life brings you somewhere… before telling you why."
Taehyung didn't reply.
But his heart beat faster.
The market was loud and full of life, but Y/N felt strangely disconnected from it.
Her friend was still searching for outfits, holding different dresses against herself and asking for opinions, but Y/N's attention had drifted elsewhere.
Her eyes had stopped on an old woman sitting quietly beside a small wooden table.
She looked out of place in the chaos.
Calm.
Still.
Waiting.
There was something unsettling about the way her eyes rested directly on Y/N, as if she had been expecting her.
Y/N hesitated before walking toward her.
She didn't believe in palm reading. She never had.
But something deep inside her urged her forward.
She sat down slowly in front of the woman.
The old woman smiled, her wrinkled face gentle but knowing.
"Give me your hand, child," she said softly.
Y/N extended her hand, her fingers slightly trembling without knowing why.
The old woman's touch was warm.
Her fingers traced the lines carefully.
For a moment, her expression remained neutral.
Then it changed.
Her movements stopped.
Her eyes froze on Y/N's palm.
A long silence passed between them.
Y/N felt her heartbeat quicken.
"What is it?" she asked nervously.
The old woman slowly lifted her head.
Her eyes met Y/N's.
There was no fear in them.
Only certainty.
"You…" she whispered, her voice filled with quiet awe, "are bound to someone."
Y/N frowned slightly.
"Bound?"
The old woman nodded, her grip tightening just a little.
"Not by choice. Not by chance. But by fate itself."
A strange chill ran through Y/N's body.
She didn't understand.
The old woman's eyes softened.
"He will find you," she continued gently. "No matter where you are. No matter how far."
Y/N's breath hitched.
"He will not see the world," the woman said. "He will only see you."
Her fingers pressed lightly against Y/N's palm.
"You will become his world."
Y/N's heart skipped.
Her voice came out barely above a whisper.
"Who… is he?"
The old woman smiled faintly.
"A man whose love will know no limits."
She paused.
"And once he finds you… he will never let you go."
Y/N's chest tightened.
Not in fear.
But in something she couldn't explain.
Something heavy.
Something permanent.
"He is already walking toward you," the old woman added softly.
Y/N pulled her hand back slowly, her mind spinning with confusion.
None of it made sense.
Yet…
Why did it feel real?
Why did her heart feel like it was waiting?
She stood up, still shaken.
Before leaving, she glanced back once more.
The old woman was still watching her.
Smiling.
As if she had just witnessed destiny unfold.
Taehyung pov:
The air outside felt warmer than he expected, yet it was easier to breathe.
Taehyung adjusted his cap and mask as he stepped into the crowded street. The city moved endlessly around him, full of unfamiliar sounds and colors, but none of it distracted him. His mind was elsewhere.
Or rather, his heart was.
He didn’t know where he was going. His feet simply moved on their own, guided by something he couldn’t explain.
It was the same feeling he had been experiencing since he arrived.
A pull.
Quiet.
Persistent.
Unavoidable.
As he walked past small shops filled with jewelry and fabrics, his steps suddenly slowed.
His chest tightened.
His heart began to beat harder.
Stronger.
He stopped completely.
Something was here.
Someone.
His eyes moved through the crowd, searching without knowing what he was searching for.
And then he saw her.
She was standing only a few steps away from him, her back facing him. Her hair moved slightly with the breeze, and though he couldn’t see her face, his entire body stilled.
His breath caught in his throat.
It was her.
He didn’t know how he knew.
He just did.
Every instinct inside him recognized her before his eyes ever could.
His fingers twitched slightly at his side, an unfamiliar urge rising in his chest.
He needed to see her face.
Needed to know her.
Needed—
He took a step toward her.
Y/N’s POV
Y/N stood beside the small bracelet stall, her fingers lightly brushing over the colorful pieces. Her friend was talking beside her, but the words faded into the background.
Her heart had suddenly begun to race.
She didn’t know why.
It felt as if the air had shifted.
As if something had changed.
A strange awareness settled over her, making her feel like she wasn’t alone.
Like someone was close.
Very close.
Her fingers stilled.
She frowned slightly, her chest rising and falling faster than before.
Without thinking, she began to turn.
Taehyung’s POV
She was moving.
She was turning.
His heart pounded wildly now, anticipation building inside him. Every second felt stretched, fragile, important.
He was finally going to see her.
Finally going to know.
But suddenly, someone rushed past him, bumping into his shoulder.
He stumbled slightly, his attention breaking for just a second.
Just one second.
When he looked back—
She was gone.
His eyes widened.
He stepped forward quickly, scanning the crowd.
Searching.
His pulse refused to calm down.
He couldn’t accept it.
He had just seen her.
He knew he had.
He moved through the people, his eyes desperate now, refusing to give up.
And then he saw her again.
Only for a moment.
She was being pulled away by someone else, disappearing into the crowd before he could reach her.
He stopped walking.
His body went still.
But unlike before—
He didn’t feel loss.
He felt certainty.
His jaw tightened slightly as he stared at the place she had disappeared.
His heart whispered something his mind couldn’t deny.
I found you.
Not completely.
Not yet.
But soon.
Very soon.
And when he did—
He wouldn’t let her disappear again.
Y/N’s POV
Y/N suddenly stopped walking.
She didn’t know why.
Her friend looked back at her in confusion.
“What happened?”
Y/N hesitated, her fingers pressing lightly against her chest.
Her heart was still beating fast.
She turned her head, looking back into the crowd.
Her eyes searched unconsciously.
She didn’t know who she was looking for.
Or why.
But the feeling lingered.
Like someone had been there.
Watching her.
Finding her.
Waiting for her.
After a moment, she looked away.
Unaware that fate had already begun its work.
