Y/N POV:
The notification appeared on my phone at exactly 7:12 in the morning.
I almost ignored it, still half-asleep, my eyes burning as I stared lazily at the screen. But the words registered slowly, and then all at once. My heart stopped. My breath caught somewhere between my chest and my throat as I sat up abruptly, my blanket falling to my lap.
BTS announces concert in India.
My hands began to tremble.
“No…” I whispered, my voice barely audible even to myself. “This… this isn’t real.”
I clicked it.
I read it once.
Twice.
Five times.
And then I screamed.
“AMMA!”
My voice echoed through the entire house as I jumped off the bed, nearly slipping on the floor in my hurry. My heart was beating so fast it almost hurt, but I couldn’t stop smiling. I couldn’t stop. My cheeks were already aching, but I didn’t care.
My mother came rushing out of the kitchen, panic written all over her face.
“What happened?” she asked urgently. “Why are you screaming like this?”
“They’re coming,” I said breathlessly, staring at her with wide eyes.
She frowned in confusion.
“Who?”
“BTS,” I whispered, and then louder, “BTS ARE COMING TO INDIA.”
She blinked at me.
Once.
Twice.
And then sighed.
“Oh,” she said flatly, already turning back toward the kitchen. “I thought something serious happened.”
I stared at her retreating figure in disbelief.
“Amma!” I whined, following her. “This is serious.”
She shook her head, muttering something about me being dramatic, but I didn’t care. Nothing could ruin this moment. Nothing. My hands were still shaking as I grabbed my phone again and opened our group chat.
Me: THEY’RE COMING.
Three dots appeared instantly.
Anjali: WHO
Me: BTS
There was a pause.
And then chaos.
Anjali: STOP LYING
Me: I SWEAR
Diya: SEND LINK RIGHT NOW
I sent it.
My phone started ringing immediately.
I answered it, laughing breathlessly.
“HELLO?”
“IS THIS REAL?” Anjali screamed into my ear.
“Yes!”
She screamed.
I screamed.
We both screamed.
I collapsed onto the chair, my heart feeling too big for my chest.
“They’re coming here,” I whispered softly, more to myself than to her. “They’re actually coming here.”
And for the first time, it didn’t feel like a distant dream.
It felt real.

Author POV:
Thousands of miles away, in a brightly lit practice room, music echoed loudly against the walls.
Seven figures moved in perfect synchronization, their breathing heavy, their expressions focused. The sharp sound of their footsteps filled the room as they repeated the choreography again and again without stopping.
The music stopped abruptly.
Silence fell.
Jungkook bent forward, his hands on his knees as he caught his breath.
“Again?” he asked between breaths.
J-Hope shook his head slightly.
“Five minutes break,” he said.
Everyone relaxed instantly.
Taehyung walked toward the corner, grabbing his water bottle before sitting down on the floor. Sweat clung to his skin, his chest rising and falling as he stared ahead silently.
Namjoon glanced at him.
“You’re quiet,” he said.
Taehyung shrugged.
“Just thinking.”
“About what?” Jimin asked, sitting beside him.
Taehyung hesitated.
“India.”
The room grew slightly quieter.
Jin looked up.
“India,” he repeated thoughtfully.
“I’ve never been there,” Jungkook said, sitting down cross-legged. “I don’t know what to expect.”
“They say it’s very crowded,” Yoongi added calmly. “And loud.”
Hoseok smiled faintly.
“But the fans are loud everywhere.”
They laughed softly.
Taehyung stared down at his hands.
“I heard they waited years,” he said quietly.
His voice was softer now.
Almost thoughtful.
Namjoon nodded slowly.
“They did.”
A brief silence passed between them.
Anticipation hung in the air.
Something about this concert felt different.
Something none of them could explain.
Taehyung leaned back on his hands, staring up at the ceiling.
“I wonder…” he murmured quietly.
His voice trailed off.
But no one asked him to finish.
Because somehow, they were all thinking the same thing.
Y/N POV:
My finger hovered over the screen, trembling slightly as the countdown reached its final seconds.
00:00:05
My heart was beating so loudly I could hear it in my ears.
Anjali was on call with me, her breathing just as uneven as mine. Neither of us spoke. We didn’t dare. It felt like even a single word would ruin everything, like the universe was waiting for a reason to disappoint us.
00:00:01
The page refreshed.
I clicked instantly.
My screen froze.
“No, no, no…” I whispered desperately, tapping repeatedly.
The loading circle spun.
And then—
Sold Out.
My heart dropped.
Just like that.
Gone.
“They’re gone,” I said faintly, my voice hollow.
There was silence on the other end.
And then Anjali spoke.
“Y/N.”
I swallowed hard, staring at the words that blurred through my tears.
“They’re sold out.”
“Y/N,” she said again.
“What?” I snapped weakly, my chest aching.
“I got them.”
I froze.
“What?”
“I got them,” she repeated, her voice breaking into a disbelieving laugh. “VIP tickets.”
My breath caught.
“Stop joking,” I whispered.
“I’m not.”
Silence.
And then—
I screamed.
“ANJALI!”
I could hear her laughing as I cried, my legs giving out as I slid down to the floor, clutching my phone tightly.
“VIP,” I repeated, my voice shaking. “VIP means…”
“Close,” she finished for me.
My vision blurred completely now.
I covered my mouth, sobbing.
“I’m going to see them,” I whispered.
For the first time in my life.
I was going to see them.

Author POV:
The airport was louder than usual.
Cameras flashed endlessly, voices shouting over each other as the doors finally opened.
They stepped out one by one.
Calm.
Composed.
Used to this chaos.
But today felt different.
Taehyung stepped forward, his eyes scanning the crowd instinctively.
Fans screamed.
His name echoed loudly.
He bowed politely, offering a small smile, but something in his chest felt strange.
He couldn’t explain it.
It wasn’t nervousness.
It wasn’t fear.
It was something else.
Something unfamiliar.
He looked around again.
The signs.
The faces.
The overwhelming emotion in their eyes.
His chest tightened.
“They waited,” he murmured quietly to himself.
Jungkook glanced at him.
“What?”
Taehyung shook his head.
“Nothing.”
But he kept looking.
As if searching for something he didn’t understand.

Y/N POV:
I couldn’t breathe.
My eyes were glued to my phone screen, my hands trembling violently as the live video played.
They were here.
They were actually here.
In India.
In my country.
Just hours away from me.
Taehyung appeared on the screen.
My vision blurred instantly.
Tears slipped down my cheeks without permission.
“He’s here,” I whispered brokenly.
My lips trembled.
My heart ached.
I pressed my fingers against the screen, as if I could reach him.
It felt stupid.
But I didn’t care.
“I waited for you,” I whispered softly, my voice shaking.
He looked around slowly in the video.
For a second—
Just one second—
It felt like he was looking at me.
I let out a small, broken laugh through my tears.
“I’m really going to see you.”
And for the first time—
It didn’t feel impossible anymore.
